A Prayer for Guidance and Strength

Heavenly Father, as a new day unfolds, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life, for Your unfailing love, and for the mercies that are new every morning. Thank You for Your constant presence and for the breath in my lungs, the sight in my eyes, and the hope in my soul. I acknowledge Your sovereignty over all things and surrender my day into Your loving hands. Lord, I pray for clarity of purpose and renewed strength to walk in Your will today. Guide my thoughts, words, and actions, that they may bring honor to Your name. Help me to be attentive to Your promptings, to show kindness and compassion to those I encounter, and to approach challenges with wisdom and patience. Grant me discernment to recognize opportunities to serve You and others, and the courage to act upon them. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Protect me from anxiety and distraction, and fill me with a quiet confidence in Your provision and plan. I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Amen.
