A Prayer for Guidance and Gratitude

Heavenly Father, as the dawn breaks on this new day, my heart overflows with gratitude for the gift of life, for Your unfailing love, and for the countless blessings You pour into my existence. Thank You for rest through the night and for the opportunity to awaken to Your mercies, which are new every morning. May my first thoughts be of You, and may my spirit be filled with thanksgiving for Your constant presence. Lord, I ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom throughout this day. Direct my steps, illuminate my path, and help me to make choices that honor You and serve Your purposes. Grant me strength to face any challenges with grace, patience in moments of frustration, and compassion for those I encounter. May my words and actions reflect Your love, bringing light and encouragement to others. I surrender this day to You, Father, trusting completely in Your perfect plan. Help me to lean not on my own understanding, but to acknowledge You in all my ways, knowing that You will make my paths straight. Keep my heart focused on Your truth and my mind open to Your leading. May I walk in faith, bringing glory to Your name in all that I do. Amen.
